I was kinda thinking of slapping it in my PSP as well since there are a few wonderswan titles I wanted to play on the go. Nothing that save states can't fix though. Just wish I could figure out why the emulators can't keep save files. It's a good game to grind in while you walk through the snow. I'm playing the first SaGa, so it's a WonderSwan emulator on my PSP. Well, it's a remix from from Itoken, of course it's amazing. Ren is the sixth member of the IRPO dream team. Silence and Ren, Emelia's boyfriend and Fuse's partner. Wonder how its supposed to work as a browser game though. But oh man the battle music for Imperial SaGa is amazing! I wasn't sure about this picture from the last thread, Who are the two guys in the middle suppose to be? I'm guessing one of them is silence. ![]() SFX, music and choreography are all 11/10, would fight endlessly. >Dat crazy ass ricochet off of the screens > Anonymous Tue Feb 17 06:50:29 2015 No.2238847Ĭarnage has to be one of the best attacks of all time. It is bad ass and you know shit just real as your parties HP just crapped itself. Must be a glitch, the DS emulator is sometimes a bit unstable. What's up with that? > Anonymous Mon Feb 16 23:34:59 2015 No.2238370Īctually, i'm playing on an emulator so chances are good that it's a graphical glitch. Then I got hit and it went back to normal. I was playing the remake of SaGa when I noticed that my character had turned a lighter color. SaGa 3 had a sligthly more interesting story though. That's roughly a synthesys of SaGa 2's story, of course if you wanna more particular there are also the Goddesses and such but that's mostly flavor stuff that doesn't really add much depth. In the beginning the story is simply gather all the magi and stuff, of course you also have to fight demons like Ashura again so it's pretty clear the world is a bit fucked, after you get to Apollo though the power of Magi suddenly causes Arsenal to awaken and think "shit just got real, it's too late to save anything". Oh I guess if arsenal was triggered by all the shit going on that makes enough sense for me > Anonymous Mon Feb 16 07:44:56 2015 No.2236742 Story wasn't really one of SaGa's best points. No one because Arsenal is triggered and you gotta destroy it or anything will be toast. You have to gather the Magi so the gods can't do evil with them? But after you kill apollo who really gives a shit about magi? > Anonymous Mon Feb 16 05:24:20 2015 No.2236613 Whats the actual story behind saga 2? Like I love the shit out of the game but now that I think about it I dont understand it. SaGa Frontier's Genocide Heart is more or less the same as Arsenal/Last Defense System, it's just a supercomputer. Is FFL2 the only RPG with a non-sentient final boss? > Anonymous Mon Feb 16 04:34:41 2015 No.2236573 Thanks to the kind Anon who contributed the RomaSaGa 1 scans. >What are the games I can play in EnglishĪll the FFL titles were localized, same with the PS One and PS2 titles, there is also an english patch for Romancing SaGa 3 but unfortunately the first two titles are still in Japanese only, though there are already translation projects in the works. The first SaGa games are known in the west as Final Fantasy Legends, so chances are you played those in your childhood on ye olde brick GB, then there is the Romancing SaGa trilogy on the SNES, the two SaGa Frontier titles on the PS One and Minstrel Song(a remake of the first Romancing SaGa) and Unlimited: Saga on the PS2. It's a Jrpg series produced by Akitoshi Kawazu back in the early Final Fantasy days, however it differs from most other Jrpg series by being more Wrpg oriented, it's non-linear, with multiple main characters, multiple endings and very unusual mechanics based on classic Tabletop RPGs ![]() File: 6 KB, 320x288, Despair, but also a SMASHER.png
